Photo Diary: Night Racing in Abbotsford, Canada
Jonny Yardwaste had a fantastic idea: host a race on a familiar little bike track. But at night, with glow sticks.
It was a very fun event and everyone had a blast!
Here are some photos from the event:
Eleanor helped host the event and got to rally some runs before the sun set and racing began.
Riders maneuvered this first corner to figure out the lines; covering the road in dirt and rocks in the process.
Mt. Baker glowed gloriously in the backdrop, turning many shades of purple as the sun set.
As the light dwindled, the glow sticks came out and racing began.
Grace took first for women! Followed by Eleanor and Rosanne.
Riley took first for Open, closely followed by Colin and Russel!
Once the racing was over, it was time to clean up and head out to the liquor store for a fabulous night of bumming out!
But not before I could grab this long exposure!
What a fantastic night! Thank you so much to Jonny and Eleanor for everything! :D
